M. Lee Reeder
Lee Reeder was born in Opelika Alabama on February 27, 1974. The son of an Army Officer, Lee and his family lived on or near military bases around the world until Lee’s family finally settled in Atlanta Georgia. Lee graduated from High School in Alpharetta, Georgia and then attended Georgia State University where Lee graduated with Honors from the J. Mack Robinson School of Business with a degree in Business Management. Lee moved to St. Petersburg Florida and graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2007 where Lee was a member of the Moot Court Board and Trial Team.
Following law school Lee worked at an insurance defense law firm defending insurance companies and nursing home facilities throughout central Florida. Using his prior experience in defending nursing homes and assisted living facilities, Lee is able to easily recognize the various forms of elder abuse and is able to cut through the defenses that are typically raised by the facilities.
Lee has been given an “AV pre-eminent rating” by Martindale Hubbell. This rating is only given to those lawyers that have been found b y their peers to have the highest ethical standards and legal knowledge in the field.
Lee is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law. This is a designation that is earned by less than 1% of all lawyers in Florida. Civil Trial Board Certification is a designation that the Florida Bar provides to those lawyers that are deemed to be experts or specialists in civil trial law.
